Easy Spaghetti and Meatballs

I’m absolutely hooked on this One Pot Spaghetti and Meatballs recipe! It’s my new go-to last-minute dinner when I forget to thaw any meat the night before. This recipe takes all the fuss out of making dinner by using frozen meatballs, noodles, and sauce and then throwing it all in one pan to cook for less than 30 minutes. The cleanup is a breeze! Plus the flavor is so delicious since the noodles and meatballs cook together in the sauce. This Spaghetti and Meatballs recipe is my kids’ favorite dinner and a must-try for any busy weeknight or family gathering!

Ingredients

  • Frozen Meatballs– Use any flavor of meatballs you prefer and no need to thaw them! You could also use homemade meatballs as well. I use around half of a bag of meatballs so that ended up with 20 meatballs but you could use a little more or less.
  • Pasta Sauce– Any flavor of your favorite jarred or homemade pasta sauce will taste delicious.
  • Spaghetti– I recommend regular spaghetti noodles and not a thinner noodle such as angel hair because it would cook too quickly for the meatballs to fully cook through.
  • Diced Tomatoes– These add a little heartiness to your sauce but feel free to leave this out. I used Italian Style but regular or petite tomatoes also taste good.
  • Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder– This is my favorite combination of spices for my Italian dishes. Add more or less to your tastes.
  • Chicken Broth– You could substitute with water but I find that the chicken broth enhances the savoriness of the dish.

Helpful Tips

* Stir often to prevent the noodles from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

* I find that breaking the noodles in half helps them to cook more evenly.
