Ingredients
- Birthday Cake Oreos– This flavor of Oreo is extra sweet and delicious. They are full of filling that’s similar to Double Stuffed so it is bursting with birthday cake flavoring throughout. You’ll want to crush these into big and little pieces so there are Oreo pieces in every bite.
- Heavy Whipping Cream– The cream turns into whipped cream to help build the base of the ice cream. I have not used Cool Whip as a substitute so I do not know if it will set up the same. Half and half will not work in this recipe.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk– The sweetened condensed milk gives a nice creamy sweetness to the base of the ice cream and will help it to hold shape once frozen.
- Vanilla Extract– This is important to have the vanilla base flavor and scent.
- Sprinkles– Sprinkles are optional but they add so much more fun to the ice cream!

Step-by-Step Instructions
This ice cream is easy to make. All you have to do is:
- Whip the cream: Start by whipping the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract in a bowl for about 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks form. I like to do this in a cold glass or aluminum bowl. I pop mine in the freezer for about 15 minutes and then it’s ready to go. Then gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk until it’s all mixed together.
- Add Oreos: To crush the Oreos, you can either use a food processor and pulse them a few times or place them in a gallon freezer bag and roll over it a few times with a rolling pin. Either way, you will want it to have both fine and chunky pieces. Stir the Oreos and the sprinkles (save a few to sprinkle on top) into the ice cream mixture and then pour into a freezer-safe bowl or pan. An aluminum loaf pan works well for this. Add a few extra sprinkles and Oreo pieces on top and cover.
- Freeze: Place the pan into the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm. Scoop and enjoy!
Storage Options
This easy ice cream is best when stored in the freezer and enjoyed for up to 2 months. Double wrap and place in an air-tight container to help prevent freezer burn.
