Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Place chicken in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • Add BBQ sauce, apple juice, vinegar, and brown sugar.
  • Cook on Low 6–7 hours or High 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
  • Shred chicken and stir back into sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!

Helpful tips:
  • You can use apple cider in place of the apple juice.
  • For an extra kick of apple, I have added Apple Pie Spice for a stronger flavor.
Storage:
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
