Ingredients

  • 12 count Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 cup pizza or pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • toppings of choice such as pepperoni, sausage, veggies

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Slice the tops off of the Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Set the tops aside.
  • Place the bottoms in the pan and then layer with pizza sauce, any desired toppings, and then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add the tops back on.
  • Whisk together butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl and then brush over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has melted throughout. For crispier tops, uncover and bake an additional 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Storage:
  • Store cooled slider sandwiches in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • The leftover sliders will start to become soggy the longer they sit in the refrigerator.
Pro Tips:
  • For easier assembly, do not cut the roll individually. Only cut the tops off horizontally and then cut them individually after baking when ready to serve.
  • Use any pre-cooked toppings you enjoy like sausage, pepperoni, or veggies.
