Classic Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Topping

Ingredients: – sweet potatoes – white granulated sugar – milk – butter  – vanilla extract – salt Pecan Topping – chopped or halved pecans – brown sugar – all-purpose flour – butter  – ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions: – In a large bowl, add cooked sweet potatoes and mash until creamy. Then add eggs, milk, white sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir together and spread into 9x13" pan.

– In a medium bowl, add pecans, flour, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir it all together and crumble on top of the sweet potato mixture so that the entire surface is covered.

- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until fully cooked and the topping is golden brown.
