Butternut Squash Turkey Chili

This Butternut Squash Turkey Chili recipe will surprise your tastebuds with its fantastic flavor. It combines savory flavors of turkey and spices with a hint of sweetness from the butternut squash. Best served with a slice of sweet cornbread!

Ingredients:  – 1 lb ground turkey – 1/2 onion diced – 1 lb butternut squash diced – 15.25 oz black beans rinsed and drained – 28 oz crushed tomatoes – 14.5 oz diced tomatoes – 4 oz diced green chilis – 2 tbsp chili powder – 2 tsp cumin – 1 tsp paprika – 1-1/2 tsp garlic powder – 1/8 tsp oregano – 2 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp ground black pepper – 14.5 oz chicken broth

Directions:  – In a pan on medium, cook turkey until brown. Halfway through cooking, add diced onion. Once cooked, add to the slow cooker. – Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and stir together. Cook on low 3-4 hours or until butternut squash is tender. Enjoy!
